EJB Construction was established in 2021, but the experience behind it goes back much further. Owner Eric Bergmans has spent over 35 years in the trades — working for large companies, managing crews, installing projects in the field, and overseeing the quality on every job.
That background shapes how we work today: hands-on, detail-driven, and accountable from the first call to the final walkthrough.

Eric Bergmans

A Northern Michigan builder, husband, and dad of two — building the same way for your family as he would for his own.
Eric got his start in construction more than 35 years ago — swinging hammers in the field, leading crews, and overseeing job quality for some of the largest builders in the region before stepping out on his own.
He founded EJB Construction in 2021 with one goal: bring that same hands-on attention and accountability to every project, no matter the size. From a punch-list repair to a full custom home, you get the same standard of work — and the same person standing behind it.
Part of the goal with this business is bigger than construction — it's to take care of the community, train the next generation of youth in the trade, and be a company that people can truly count on to take care of them.
